Application Process
Please read the About Aftermath (http://www.aftermath-guild.com/showthread.php?4679-About-Aftermath) section and the below before you apply. Once you fill out the application form it will be posted to a private forum where only guild members and you can see your application. Your application will then be critiqued and commented upon. All communication will be handled through your application thread.
Ability and Preparation
Playing ability is by far the most important factor that we seek in our recruits. You should understand every aspect of your class and be able to apply that knowledge to your character. Members are also expected to be prepared to tackle any new boss encounters and adjust to any class changes. Take pride in the way you play.
Attitude
We enjoy being around positive thinkers and people with a sense of humor to keep raids enjoyable and tolerable. We are looking for people who are willing to put the raid team above all else.
Raid Attendance
We expect 80% attendance for our minimal 3-day raiding schedule. Do not apply if you cannot adhere to this. Unexplained absences are the quickest way to end a trial or membership. We do understand that people have lives and have to get to bed for class/work which is why we have instituted such a relaxed raid schedule.
Gear
We don't mind bringing you up to speed if your gear is lacking, but it will be rather telling if you have not invested sufficient effort into your character.
Member Requirements
Communication: Mumble installed with a working mic and the willingness to use it
Punctuality: Be on time for raid invites
Preparedness: Knowledge of encounters and mechanics prior to zoning
Dependability: Stable internet connection and reliable PC
Appliction Tips
Read each question carefully before answering and if there is a particular question you do not understand, contact an officer in game or via PM on these boards before submitting your application. Do not leave any part of a question unaddressed.
Write a perfect application. We are adults. We use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. We understand that English is not everyone's first language and if it applies please make a note.
Be as thorough as you can in your answers. We would rather you tell us too much than too little.
You will not be able to go back and edit any part of your application once you have submitted it.
